Just a reminder: June will roll by, but
Erika Jo will still be around. I will continue to update this page, so check back often! Enjoy!
Who is she?
April 26, 2005 will always remain a special day in
Erika Jo's life. The eighteen-year-old catapulted into national STARdom when she became the youngest winner ever
on the USA Network's third season of Nashville Star. She was also the first female to win on the show. That's not
to say it was an "overnight success" for her, though! Born in Texas, Erika Jo moved with her parents to Tennessee before she
was two years old. At the age of four, Erika joined her father singing in a cover; soon she was criss-crossing the country
juggling homework by the weekdays and gigs on the weekends. Since, she's been honing her vocal chops. Then came Nashville
Star, in which her regional win secured her a spot on the national television show. With her win came a recording contract
with Universal South where she released her debut album. Winning Nashville Star has afforded Erika Jo many invalueable
experiences, including making her debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Her first single "I Break Things" has just been released
to radio and the video for it is now in rotation on GAC, VH-1 Country, and CMT!! There's no doubt that more big things are
to come for Erika Jo!

Billboard's Country Album Chart and at #27 on the Hot 200 Album Chart (all genres), outselling Kenny Chesney,
Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich, Tim McGraw and Shania Twain, among others!! Since 2002, the only other new female artists
to have a Top 5 sales debut on the Soundscan Country Chart were Gretchen Wilson and Miranda Lambert. A whopping 25 million
American television viewers watched her win, week after week, on Nashville Star, and since March, Erika Jo has received
over 6 million hits to her website!!

** Juggling school life with a music career is nothing
new to Erika. The week before she took home the winning title on Nasville Star, she recorded "I Break Things" the
song that would become her single should she win. That Saturday - only three days before the finale episode of Nasville
Star, Erika attended her senior prom with fellow Nashville Star finalist and friend Jody Evans. A few weeks
later, she graduated from high school!
** Erika Jo holds the distinction of being the youngest person ever to perform
the National Anthem at famed University of Kentucky’s Rupp Arena!!
